At Paw Pals, we have one overarching goal: to provide the best care for your best friend. (It’s so important to us that we’ve included it in our logo!) But for us, that mission doesn’t just stop with our clients and our own furry friends. We believe that all furry friends deserve the best care possible. That’s why we’ve chosen a number of ways to engage with Northern Virginia’s pet-loving community – whether through donations and partnerships, pet-sponsorships, or community events that bring us all together. Holiday Party & Fabulous Silent AuctionThe Homeless Animal Rescue Team (HART)

The Homeless Animal Rescue Team (HART) is a non-profit, all-volunteer, no-kill animal rescue/support group/welfare organization with 30 plus years of experience helping animals in northern Virginia and surrounding communities. HART was incorporated in 1990, and since then has been taking in and rehoming abused and unwanted dogs and cats. They also work with local veterinarians, foster homes, kennels, and trainers to provide temporary housing, medical care and, where appropriate, training for our animals until they're placed in a loving, carefully-screened new home. HART takes in older, sick, and injured animals as well as the readily adoptable and never takes just the pups and kittens, leaving mom behind. They seek to direct our resources where they are most needed and to alleviate or prevent suffering wherever they find it. HART relies solely on private donations and could not continue their rescue mission without community support to help cover veterinary, food and other animal related expenses.

On Saturday, December 7, 2024, HART will be hosting their annual Holiday Party & Fabulous Silent Auction from 5:00 to 8:00pm at The Great Hall at Epiphany Episcopal Church in Herndon. Join us for an evening of friends and fundraising to help HART save lives! Your ticketed entry to their Holiday Party features food, a drink ticket, five free raffle tickets, dessert and access to the Fabulous Silent Auction! The auction and raffle items include: cocktail baskets, wine baskets, dog items, cat items, jewelry, artwork, Christmas items, artisan items, gift cards, and more!
